Our Values

Equity and justice are at the center of every decision Compass makes. This includes how we work, create our programmes, advise our clients and select the stakeholders we engage with. Just as a compass helps navigate the way, we are making it our mission to navigate to a more just and equitable society

North on the compass represents equitable outcomes and opportunities. We strive to ensure that all individuals have access to the same opportunities, regardless of their background and circumstances. We champion diversity in our hiring practices and create work environments that foster inclusion and equitable growth opportunities for all who work with us.

West on the compass represents advocacy and activism. We actively work to create positive change in society. We engage in advocacy and activism efforts to address systemic issues and promote equity and justice in all that we do, whether that is engaging with local communities on what equity looks like in practice or offering our expertise to those in positions of influence and power.

East on the compass represents

accountability and transparency. We hold ourselves accountable for creating the fair and just society we advocate for in our work, and we do this by making sure the work we deliver is constantly aligned to our mission and vision. We communicate openly with our stakeholders and are transparent in our decision-making processes both internally and externally.

South on the compass represents empathy and compassion. At the heart of our work is the importance of understanding and learning from the lived experience of the most marginalized. We strive to create a culture that is supportive and empathetic, one that takes into account the needs and perspectives of all.

Using this compass as a guide, we are committed to creating a world where equity and justice are at the forefront of every thought, action, behavior and decision. We believe that by leading with compassion, accountability, and advocacy, we can create a more just and equitable society for all.
